Service agreements and policies

Service Agreements

By scheduling service with Resurrection Piano Service, you agree to these terms. Service appointments constitute an agreement for us to perform the requested work on your piano. We will arrive at the scheduled time and perform the service to professional standards.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. For restoration projects exceeding $1,000, a 50% deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion.

Cancellation Policy

We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a $50 missed appointment fee. This allows us to manage our schedule effectively and serve other clients who may be waiting for appointments.

Quotes and Estimates

Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Quotes are based on our initial assessment and may be adjusted if additional issues are discovered during service. We will always communicate any price changes before proceeding with additional work.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing clear access to the piano on the scheduled date. The piano should be accessible with at least 2 feet of clearance on the tuning side. If we arrive and cannot access the piano, a missed appointment fee may apply. Please ensure someone will be present to provide access for the scheduled duration.

Warranty

Our tuning services are guaranteed for 30 days. If your piano goes out of tune within this period due to normal conditions, we will retune at no charge. Our restoration and repair work is guaranteed for 90 days against defects in workmanship. This warranty does not cover issues arising from humidity fluctuations, customer negligence, or normal wear.

Liability

While we exercise great care with all instruments, Resurrection Piano Service cannot be held liable for pre-existing conditions, latent defects, or damage resulting from age, wear, or environmental factors. We recommend that customers maintain appropriate insurance coverage for valuable instruments.

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you have concerns about the quality of our work, please contact us within 7 days of service completion. We will work with you to address any legitimate issues and ensure you are satisfied with our service.
