Refinishing & Cabinet Work
Cabinet Restoration
Your piano's appearance speaks to its care and value. Our cabinet restoration services range from basic scratch and dent repair to complete veneer replacement and French polish application. We work with all finishes including satin, gloss, and polyester.

Action Replacement & Repair
When regulation can't restore proper touch, or when action parts are worn beyond repair, complete action replacement may be necessary. We source quality action components from manufacturer suppliers and perform complete action rebuilds.
This service involves replacing all bushings, repinning, installing new hammers, and complete regulation. It's a comprehensive project that can extend the life of your piano by decades. We work with all major brands and can source both new OEM parts and quality aftermarket components.

Humidity Control Systems
The Hudson Valley climate presents significant challenges for piano owners. Humidity fluctuations cause wood to swell and contract, leading to tuning instability, action problems, and cabinet damage. A properly installed humidity control system provides constant protection.
We are certified installers of Dampp Chaser and similar climate control systems. Installation takes about 2-3 hours and includes a full demonstration of the system's operation and maintenance requirements. The system is invisible from the exterior of your piano.
